Over the years, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), has taken many forms, including elements of RTI, PBIS, Data-Based Decision-Making, and Standards-based instruction.
Today, MTSS is clearly defined as a data-based, multi-tiered, approach that supports student learning and behavior. As educational leaders, it’s important to identify and address underlying aspects of MTSS that will contribute to the success or failure in meeting the needs of our students to reach expectations for learning.
Our presentation explores the essential elements needed to bring the all-too-common MTSS “mountain” down to a manageable “molehill.”
Here’s what you can expect:
- Learn to identify the essential elements of MTSS to set your students and teams up for success.
- Identify the needs and barriers your students are facing and implement effective strategies to help them overcome those obstacles.
- Gain insight into purpose-built technology that’s designed to give you a data-driven MTSS process that’s both flexible and powerful.
We’ve also provided a complementary resource to help you follow along and track your progress throughout the following presentation. Click here to download the activity guide handout mentioned.
