The District of North Vancouver (DNV), a vibrant district municipality in British Columbia, is a cornerstone of Metro Vancouver, surrounding the City of North Vancouver on three sides. In 2024, the District was once again recognized as one of BC’s Top Employers, underscoring its commitment to excellence.
As DNV continues to grow and evolve, the need for a more integrated and efficient budgeting process became evident. The District had been relying on multiple tools, including spreadsheets. Faced with the decision to either upgrade existing tools or shift to a comprehensive solution, DNV opted for Euna Budget Professional. The District was drawn to Euna Budget’s public sector experience, robust feature set, and flexible, configurable options, as well as positive referrals from other customers within BC.
With a 2024 budget totaling $387.6 million, DNV aims to leverage Euna Budget to bring its leading financial planning practices to life. The new system will empower the finance team to focus on strategic financial planning and decision support services, aligning with the District’s long-term vision for the community. By developing scenarios for the future, Euna Budget will enhance community engagement and support collective decision-making, ensuring that everyone involved in the process is treated fairly and transparently.
The District of North Vancouver has invested in Euna Budget’s Personnel, Operating, Capital, and OpenBook modules to support these goals. We are excited to partner with DNV as they implement this innovative solution and work towards building trust, open communication, and a brighter future for their community.
