Strategies for Modernizing the Government Grants Lifecycle

Overview

The Challenge: Overcoming Complexity in Grant Management

For state and local governments that rely on grants to fund essential programs, securing and administering grant funding has become increasingly complex. Agencies face volatile opportunities, shifting application requirements, and more stringent accountability, reporting, and performance demands.

This environment requires government agencies to become more agile, but that’s difficult when they are burdened with outmoded tools and manual processes.

The Solution: Technology-Driven Grant Administration

Modernizing grants administration isn’t easy. But by standardizing systems and automating manual processes, agencies can harness their grant data to gain insight into performance, spending, and compliance. This makes it possible to prevent underspending, reduce audit risk, and improve long-term planning.

Technology, like the solutions from Euna Solutions®, can also streamline grant-seeking so applications are on-target and check all the compliance boxes.

“Agencies that can adapt to these new dynamics are more likely to succeed in this increasingly competitive environment. We see lots of areas of growth in federal funding … but there’s also a lot more pressure on the accountability side in terms of how you’re trying to manage these funds moving forward.”
