The City of Mississauga (Ontario, Canada) has chosen Euna Procurement to support sourcing and contracting for the City. The solution is a single platform that enables the City of Mississauga to consolidate its procurement operations, replace its legacy bidding system and will ultimately integrate with its existing ERP, SAP S/4HANA.
As the seventh-largest city in Canada, Mississauga manages hundreds of procurements each year across a wide range of departments and internal stakeholders. With over 2000 internal users and over 30 procurement staff, the City needed a system that could scale its high volume of activity while maintaining transparency, compliance, and process efficiency.
Before selecting Euna Procurement, Mississauga relied on multiple systems, including a custom built solution called the Procurement Centre and a separate online bidding tool to receive bids for solicitations. Buyers had to manually manage intake, documents, approvals, and had to copy information between SharePoint, the bidding system, their ERP, and an eSignature system. Managing their high procurement workload was difficult, and led the City to conduct a competitive process to find a modern, connected procurement solution.
Mississauga will implement Euna Procurement’s Sourcing and Contracting modules, which include a collaborative solicitation builder, a free supplier submission experience, multi-stage evaluations, contract management, supplier performance tracking, and integrated eSignature workflows in one platform. Consolidating these capabilities will eliminate redundant data entry, speed up intake and approvals, and free up valuable time for procurement staff.
